We begin at Rainbow Falls, a wahi pana deeply rooted in Hawaiian moʻolelo, before traveling north to the powerful beauty of Akaka Falls. From there, we spend time in Downtown Hilo for lunch and exploration, honoring Hawaiʻi’s legacy at the King Kamehameha Statue and along Hilo Bay, where the shoreline reflects the town’s deep relationship with the ocean.
We continue with a peaceful walk through Liliʻuokalani Gardens and end the day with a favorite local stop at Big Island Candies—a sweet reminder of Hilo hospitality.
